About
Lori Cox is the founder and principal of LORI COX DESIGN INC., a boutique, full-service interior design firm she established in 2005. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Lori is recognized for her strong leadership, hands-on management style, and detail-driven approach to delivering thoughtful, high-quality design solutions.
She began her career after earning a Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Interior Design within the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba and later spent five years with the national architectural firm Dialog before launching her own practice. Since then, Lori has successfully led and managed numerous commercial projects across Edmonton and the surrounding region, building a reputation for professionalism, collaborative leadership, and strong client relationships while creating functional, engaging, and visually refined interior spaces.
Lori holds NCIDQ certification and, in 2023, became a Licensed Interior Designer with the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA). Following this milestone, the firm was renamed LORI COX LICENSED INTERIOR DESIGN INC.
